Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
LPAs allow you to legally appoint a trusted person, or persons (your attorneys) to make decisions on your behalf should you become unwell, and unable to manage these yourself, or no longer want to.
There are two types of LPAs, one which covers decisions over your finances and property, and the second health and welfare decisions.
Premier Financial Group will advise you on all the options, prepare your LPAs and oversee the registration of the LPAs with the Office of the Public Guardian. We also offer initial and ongoing advice for your attorneys should they require this.
At Premier Financial Group we assist with the creation, ongoing administration, and the cessation of family trusts. Our experienced Will Writer and Lifetime Planning adviser Harriet Cracknell is a full member of The Society of the Trusts and Estates Practitioners (the global professional association for those providing legal advice for family estates) and will be able to advise you on the benefits a trust may bring you and your family, including tax planning, preservation of family assets and care home planning.
